Some shaky video from Ringo's star-studded country show at the Ryman this week. According to a recap from Billboard : Each show featured Starr welcoming a star-studded lineup of his fellow music luminaries, including Sheryl Crow, Jack White, Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell, The War and Treaty, Jamey Johnson, Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, Mickey Guyton, Sarah Jarosz and Larkin Poe. Burnett hosted the show, welcoming artists throughout the evening, as some performances featured artists in collaboration with Starr, while other performances featured the evening’s guest offering solo performances. ...Backing the artists was an ace band of revered musicians that included Mike Rojas, Daniel Tashian, David Mansfield, Dennis Crouch, Paul Franklin and Jim Keltner. An Instagram pic indicates maybe so, with Oasis' Noel Gallagher along for the ride. Via Music Radar : Your eyes do not deceive you. That really is Paul McCartney playing with Noel Gallagher. And the guy on the far right? That’s Gorillaz regular go-to guitarist Jeff Wootton, who just posted the pic (alongside some revealing others) on his Instagram. The caption? A simple "The Shape Of Things To Come"… And further pics suggest that this isn’t just some one-off jam. In the next pic we see Damon Albarn working solo in the studio (with an engineer in attendance).
