Paul McCartney was among those paying tribute to TV journalist Barbara Walter, who died Dec. 30 at a age 93.
His Instagram post featured a photo of himself and his wife, Nancy Shevill, along with Walters, and noted that Walters was Shevell's cousin.

Barbara was Nancy’s deceased mother’s cousin. So they were first cousins once removed. Lots of folks get that wrong. Second cousins are when both parties parents are first cousins.
