The two surviving Indian musicians who performed in George Harrison's Sgt. Pepper track "Within You, Without You" will perform at an orchestral concert in Liverpool tomorrow, the Liverpool Echo reports.
Sikh temple musician Buddhadev Kansara, who plays the tamboura, and Natwar Soni, who plays the tabla, are the last two surviving Indian musicians from the original group of four who performed on the album. Both men are now in their eighties. The other two were Anna Joshi and Amrit Gajjar. None of them were previously acknowledged on the album despite the fact their distinctive music features prominently in the recording.
