Well, as hinted earlier this week, the Beatles are springing a revamped, expanded "Anthology" collection on us, along with a reprint of the "Anthology" book and a return of the "Anthology" video series via streaming. The audio sets are out Nov. 21 . Ordering info on the Beatles official site, which also offers exclusive editions for both box sets that include four 12-inch band photo art cards in a numbered envelope. The video series , now expanded with an extra episode, streams from Nov. 29 on Disney+ . And the book , which is in paperback only and appears to have a new cover wrap but the same contents, is out Oct. 14 . Mojo Mag Reviews the New 'Beatles Anthology' Episode

Mojo just posted a review of episode 9 of the Beatles' updated "Anthology" series, which begins streaming Nov. 26 on Disney+. The new episode will be available starting Nov. 28. Via Mojo : If Peter Jackson’s fan-thrilling Get Back allowed us to eavesdrop on The Beatles in their heyday, then the Anthology finale invites us to hang out with men in their fifties who no longer took their friendship for granted. We see the “Threetles” in acoustic mode, rattling through Bill Monroe’s Blue Moon of Kentucky and Thinking of Linking, which Paul wrote when he was just 15. They also appear cross-legged on a picnic blanket in the garden of Harrison’s Henley-on-Thames home, plucking the 1920s jazz standard Ain’t She Sweet on ukuleles. The nostalgia of reunion leads them back to the very start, before the name the Beatles meant anything. Paul McCartney Imitates Mick Jagger in Audiobook of 'Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run'

Paul McCartney does a playful imitation of his pal Mick Jagger in the audiobook of his new Wings book, Rolling Stone reports : “For so many decades,” McCartney recalls in the excerpt, “I tried to pack away these stories about how I felt when the Beatles collapsed and what happened in that period just as we were launching Wings.” When the Beatles fell apart in early 1970, McCartney was lost and confused, with no idea how to move forward. So he started up a whole new band, with his wife Linda. It sounded like a crazy idea. As he says, “When Linda joined Wings, eyebrows were raised, and not only in the press, Mick Jagger adding, ‘Wot’s he got his old lady in the band for?’”
