A copy of John Lennon's book, "In His Own Write," signed by John and his wife Cynthia Lennon is expected to fetch up to £2,500 at auction, The Cotswold Journal reports

Auctioneer Liz Poole said: "Interest in signed Beatles memorabilia is always strong and this signed John Lennon book is likely to be no exception.

"Beatles fans will be familiar with John’s surreal sense of humour from songs such as 'I Am The Walrus' from the 'Magical Mystery Tour' album."

A play inspired by the night the Beatles met Elvis is set to premiere in August at the Ogunquit Playhouse in Maine. 

"When Elvis Met the Beatles" feature songs by both acts and is set in Elvis' Bel-Air mansion, where the meeting took place on Aug. 27, 1965.
