14News: Lost 1964 George Harrison interview from Evansville radio station resurfaces
The interview was found on a record that was in some memorabilia belonging to George’s sister, Louise, who lived in Benton, Illinois.
Her friend, Warren Batts, restored the quality, and the six minute interview was recently played inside George’s childhood home in Liverpool.
It’s the same home where the Beatles sometimes held rehearsals, and tours are now given to the public.

Just three years later, Dolenz would find himself hanging out with John Lennon at Abbey Road during recording sessions for the Beatles’ landmark “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” album.

In the 1960s, the bar was called Bow Bars and run by McCartney's cousin Bett and her husband, Mike.
McCartney said he visited the bar with Lennon after hitchhiking to Portsmouth and Ryde.
The trips are said to have inspired the Beatles' classic Ticket To Ride.
