Paul Mescal paused filming for the new The Beatles biopic to meet with Sir Paul McCartney, who he plays in the movie. The Irish star in recent weeks has been seen filming the Sam Mendes biopic in Liverpool, where Macca and his bandmates grew up.
But over the weekend, the Gladiator II star was spotted filming a new documentary with Macca in London. The pair appeared to be in good spirits as they walked through the capital together before heading into the Regency Cafe in Westminster.
While details about the mystery production are limited, Mescal has made no secret of his excitement to be part of the new biopic. He previously described McCartney as "extraordinary" and "kind".
