Soundtrack Album Announced for New 'Man on the Run' Paul McCartney and Wings Documentary

From the news release : Ahead of the release of Paul McCartney: Man on the Run , the intimate new feature documentary by Oscar, Emmy, and Grammy Award-winning director Morgan Neville , exploring Paul McCartney’s creative rebirth after The Beatles’ breakup, Capitol Records, MPL Communications and UMG have announced details of a companion album titled, Man on the Run - Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack . The album includes all-time classics, hits and essential tracks from across Paul McCartney and Wings’ revered catalogue. A snapshot of Paul’s creativity in the 1970s in 12 songs. ‘Arrow Through Me (Rough Mix)’ , a previously unreleased rough mix from the 1979 album sessions for Back to the Egg , and ‘Live And Let Die (Rockshow)’ , from the 1980 concert film Rockshow , can both be heard exclusively via Amazon Music here , ahead of release. Mark Lewisohn's 'Evolver 62' Presentation Streaming on Prime

Beatles historian Mark Lewisohn's multi-media presentation focused on the early days of the Beatles is now available to view via Amazon Prime . The program runs just under two hours and is available to rent for $2.99 or for digital purchase for $7.99. No options for DVD or Blu-ray listed. Some shaky video from Ringo's star-studded country show at the Ryman this week. According to a recap from Billboard : Each show featured Starr welcoming a star-studded lineup of his fellow music luminaries, including Sheryl Crow, Jack White, Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell, The War and Treaty, Jamey Johnson, Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, Mickey Guyton, Sarah Jarosz and Larkin Poe. Burnett hosted the show, welcoming artists throughout the evening, as some performances featured artists in collaboration with Starr, while other performances featured the evening’s guest offering solo performances. ...Backing the artists was an ace band of revered musicians that included Mike Rojas, Daniel Tashian, David Mansfield, Dennis Crouch, Paul Franklin and Jim Keltner.
