Variety reports on several more castings for the upcoming set of Beatles biopics coming from director Sam Mendes.

Joining “The Beatles — A Four-Film Cinematic Event” is David Morrissey (“The Walking Dead”) as Paul McCartney’s father Jim McCartney, Leanne Best (“Walk-In”) as John Lennon’s Aunt Mimi, Bobby Schofield (“The Covenant”) as road manager and trusted confidant Neil Aspinall, Daniel Hoffman-Gill (“Sherwood”) as roadie Mal Evans, Arthur Darvill (“Broadchurch”) as press officer and friend Derek Taylor and Adam Pally (“Happy Endings”) as controversial music manager Allen Klein.
...Meanwhile, as first reported by Variety, Harry Lloyd (“The Theory of Everything”) has been confirmed as playing The Beatles’ long-time music producer George Martin, while the previously reported addition of James Norton as their’ influential manager Brian Epstein has also been confirmed.
Casting of other central characters including Cynthia Lennon and Ravi Shankar will be announced in due course.
The additional names join lead stars Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Harrison Dickinson as John Lennon, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, plus Saoirse Ronan, Anna Sawai, Aimee Lou Wood and Mia McKenna-Bruce, who are playing Linda McCartney, Yoko Ono, Pattie Boyd and Maureen Starkey, respectively.
