Traveling Wilburies Catalog Comes to George Harrison's Dark Horse Records Label

Not much info, yet, but I presume this means physical Wilburys releases are forthcoming at some point. From the news release: Dark Horse Records is honored to welcome the Traveling Wilburys, the biggest supergroup of all time, featuring George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison & Jeff Lynne, to its roster of legendary artists. Nelson, Lucky, Lefty, Otis and Charlie T. Wilbury Jr. released two albums – ‘Vol 1’ & ‘Vol 3’ – with the band’s debut winning them a Grammy for Best Rock Performance. Beatles Biopics Shoot Scenes at Paul McCartney's Childhood Home

The Daily Mail reports on camera crews and extras on the scene at Paul McCartney's former home at 20 Forthlin Road in the Liverpool suburb of Allerton: Built in 1949, the address was originally bought by McCartney's father Jim in 1955. He would remain their for a decade, until his son – by now a global star – bought him a new house in Heswell, a more prosperous part of the Wirral. The terraced home, now a National Trust property, was a hive of activity as the street was cut off by traffic cones and diversions were created for oncoming vehicles. With black tents and vintage cars lining either side of the road, production assistants were seen wheeling period-appropriate props and clothing onto the exterior set.

Beatles historian Mark Lewisohn's multi-media presentation focused on the early days of the Beatles is now available to view via Amazon Prime . The program runs just under two hours and is available to rent for $2.99 or for digital purchase for $7.99. No options for DVD or Blu-ray listed.
