Singer Rodney Crowell Wears John Lennon's 'A Hard Day's Night' Suit in New Video


Rodney Crowell, who's been backed up by Ringo Starr on drums on a number of his country recordings, wears a suit once owned by John Lennon in a new video.

Singer-songwriter Rodney Crowell wore a suit that belonged to The Beatles’ John Lennon in the video for his latest single, “Lucky,” The track will be included on Crowell’s upcoming album, The Chicago Sessions, which was produced by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy.

Set for release on May 5, The Chicago Sessions was recorded at Wilco’s The Loft studio in Chicago. The 10-song set contains contributions from three musicians Crowell brought to Chicago — guitarist Jedd Hughes, pianist Catherine Marx and bassist Zachariah Hickman — along with local drummers John Perrine and Spencer Tweedy (Jeff’s son).
