A new interview with Ringo in Variety offers more detail on his upcoming country album, Look Up , produced by T Bone Burnett, along with a TV special stemming from the LP, along with Ringo's take on the upcoming "Beatles '64" film coming to Disney+ on Nov. 29. A new GQ interview with bluegrass star Billy Strings reveals some new details about Ringo's long-awaited new country album, evidently due out in January under the title Look Up . Details: In the last few months alone, [Strings] played on tracks by Post Malone, Margo Price, and Amythyst Kiah; alongside an elite crew of Nashville aces, he just cut an entire record with Ringo Starr and T-Bone Burnett, Look Up , that’s due in January.

Ringo Starr's New Country Album 'Look Up' Set for Jan. 10 Release - Hear New Tune 'Time on My Hands'

From the news release: (October 18, 2024 – Nashville, TN) Ringo Starr will release a brand-new country music album, Look Up, produced and co-written by T Bone Burnett, on January 10, 2025. This stunning collection features 11 original songs, recorded this year in Nashville and Los Angeles. The track “Time On My Hands” is available to stream today. Nine of the 11 songs on Look Up were written or co-written by Burnett, one by Billy Swan and the other co-written by Starr and Bruce Sugar. Starr sang and played drums on all the songs and co-wrote the album’s closer, “Thankful,” featuring Alison Krauss. Burnett enlisted some of Nashville’s finest and hottest talent for the record, including Billy Strings, Larkin Poe, Lucius, Molly Tuttle and the aforementioned Krauss.
