Coming Up: Pete Ham 'Acoustic' Collects More Demos from Badfinger Great

Via Y&T Music: Y&T Music is proud to announce a limited-edition CD release of "Acoustic" a new album of rare home demos by Pete Ham, the original founding member of the legendary band, Badfinger. Ham was also part of The Iveys, when they were signed to Apple Records in 1968, before they changed their name to Badfinger. "Acoustic" is being released with the full support of the Ham Estate and is the first time that these historic recordings have been released to the public. This is a very limited edition of 1,000 copies that also comes in a beautiful 6 panel digipak with liner notes by Tom Brennan. As the title implies, this new collection of demo recordings are all performed on one or more acoustic guitars with or without vocals. John & Yoko, The Plastic Ono Band, Elephant's Memory - Power To The People - Live at the One-To-One Concert, New York City, 1972 On August 30, 1972, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, along with the Plastic Ono Band, Elephant’s Memory, and special guests, headlined two historic One to One Benefit Concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City. These performances, held before a combined audience of 40,000 people, raised over $1.5 million to support schoolchildren with special needs. These were John Lennon’s final and only full-length solo concerts after leaving The Beatles.
