The new Record Store Day release list is out today and includes a few interesting Beatles-related items detailed below. RSD will be April 12. John & Yoko, The Plastic Ono Band, Elephant's Memory - Power To The People - Live at the One-To-One Concert, New York City, 1972 On August 30, 1972, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, along with the Plastic Ono Band, Elephant’s Memory, and special guests, headlined two historic One to One Benefit Concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City. These performances, held before a combined audience of 40,000 people, raised over $1.5 million to support schoolchildren with special needs. These were John Lennon’s final and only full-length solo concerts after leaving The Beatles. Produced by Sean Ono Lennon and mixed and engineered from the original tapes by Paul Hicks and Sam Gannon, this extremely limited-edition EP features four tracks from the afternoon and evening concerts, including three previously unreleased performances. Ham was also part of The Iveys, when they were signed to Apple Records in 1968, before they changed their name to Badfinger.
