A brand new statue of the Beatles now sits on Liverpool’s waterfront. It was unveiled in front of the Cunard Building fifty years after the Beatles had their last performance in Liverpool. The artwork depicts the Fab Four walking along the Pier Head. It was gifted to the city by the Cavern Club the venue where the Beatles were first discovered.
