Beatles Announce Stand-Alone 'Anthology 4' Release

If you were put off by having to buy the upcoming Anthology box set, you now have the option to get the new Anthology 4 volume on it's own.

Hopefully, folks who ordered the box and only want this new bit can cancel their orders.

Keep in mind, too, that even though Anthology 4 is "new," most of the tracks on it were previously available elsewhere - namely on the Super Deluxe box sets of Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, the White Album, Let it Be and Abbey Road.

Announced via the Beatles official site today:

By popular demand, Anthology 4 is now available as a standalone triple LP and double CD — 36 tracks including 13 previously-unreleased demos, rare sessions from 1963–69, the band’s 2023 final single Now and Then, and new mixes by Jeff Lynne of Free As a Bird and Real Love. Available to pre-order now, coming November 21st.

Anthology 4 also forms part of the new Anthology Collection box set, alongside newly remastered editions of Volumes 1–3 by Giles Martin. Box sets ordered from The Beatles Official Store include four exclusive art cards, housed in hand-numbered envelopes.
