Set to kick off on May 22 in Camden, ‘Live Odyssey’ has been previously described as “a celebration of the rich tapestry of British music, offering a unique experience for music lovers of all ages” through “a groundbreaking tribute to the sounds that shaped Britain”.
[John Lennon's step-sister] Julia Baird will be unveiling a multi-sensory immersive exhibit dedicated to the late Beatle on its opening which “details the early years that shaped Lennon through to a life of stratospheric fame with The Beatles.”
...“Julia is set to reveal the battle between two strong, self-willed women – John’s mother and his Aunt Mimi – to win custody of John. Julia is candid about the sadness as well as the joy of their broken family life. She also details the devastating loss of their mother Julia in a road accident – and describes the painful legacy for the entire family, especially John as he garners extreme fame with the Beatles.”
Elsewhere in the exhibition, fans will move through six different rooms, each immersing guests in a different musical era and recreating the sights, sounds, and cultural moments that define each decade. There is freedom of movement between the live rooms and adjoining bars in most so people can party all the way through the experience.
Included in the list of acts set to be represented are the previously revealed Libertines, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Sex Pistols, David Bowie, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Kate Bush, The Smiths, Duran Duran, Eurythmics, Blur, Radiohead, Spice Girls, Coldplay, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa and Stormzy.
